Samantha was in her room. She quickly got into the bathroom and reapplied some makeup, then she checked herself closely. Once she was happy with how she looked, she picked up her bag and went out to create a chance encounter at the restaurant. In Samantha’s eyes, Harmony was still a naive woman, so she would never see through the act.

Right after Harmony and Ezekiel sat down, Samantha came in, scrolling through her phone. She didn’t say hi on purpose, as if she was waiting for someone else.
