The drug in Gareth's body was not any run-off-the-mill drug.

It was a unique drug that forced a man to mate with a woman. Otherwise, his blood pressure and heart rate readings would soar, leading to death by cardiac arrest.

However, Gareth grabbed Elisa's shoulder with one hand and used his other hand to pull off her clothes. He had indeed lost his mind.

Thus, Elisa did not hesitate and pulled out the medical kit she carried with her. She took a needle from the kit and stabbed it into Gareth's arm.

The pain briefly woke Gareth up from his trance.

"Liz?"

When Gareth saw two Elisa before him just now, he knew one of them was an imposter. Thus, he called out her name, hoping to determine the real Elisa through her voice.

"Be quiet and save your energy. I'll call Thomas now," Elisa said sternly, pulling out her phone.

Gareth will suffer if I neutralize the drug in his body through medication.

Gareth did not speak but quietly watched Elisa kneeling before him.

Thomas soon answered Elisa's call. "Ms. Benett…"

Thomas had been searching for Elisa. He had been to every exit point and their surroundings and even dispatched people to look for her. Still, she was nowhere to be found.

He was on the verge of panic when Elisa finally called.

After all, Gareth had ordered him to find her. He would be in trouble if he failed.

However, Elisa interrupted Thomas, "Thomas, we are still in the same private lounge in KKCD Casino. I need you to get me some medicine and a big tub."

Thomas could sense the urgency in her tone.

Although he agreed to her request readily, he could not help but be puzzled and wonder what she was up to.

Elisa did not have time to explain and hung up straight away. She immediately messaged Thomas about the medicine she needed.

She could not leave Gareth because she must treat his condition immediately. Otherwise, he might die of cardiac arrest.

They had been husband and wife. Thus, she could not bear to abandon him now.

Moreover, she could not stand there and do nothing when a person's life was at risk in her presence.

Thomas gripped his phone and ordered people to search the nearby pharmacies.

Meanwhile, Gareth noticed how beautiful Elisa looked before his eyes. Her skin was white as snow, and her figure was alluring. She was mesmerizing even when focused and serious.
