Chapter 1361 Unreasonable Behavior

Thomas was surprised to hear Elisa.

Gareth had only instructed to investigate the man, but Elisa was already done investigating before Thomas could start. How did she get it done so soon?

Meanwhile, Gareth turned to Elisa upon hearing her voice.

He did not say anything but furrowed his brow.

His mind conjured scenes of Elisa's meeting with the man named Eden and what they talked about.

Thomas pursed his lips and said, "Mr. Wickam, I will investigate it. It doesn't matter how deeply the information is hidden. I will dig up his identity!"

His eyes flickered with confidence and determination.

He had noticed the anger in Gareth's gaze and knew he had to find out who Eden was, or the situation would go downhill.

After all, Thomas was a man himself.

He understood how Gareth felt.

He could see that Gareth felt threatened by Eden.

That made him furious and ignited his possessiveness.

At the same time, Thomas felt he should leave to give Gareth and Elisa privacy. "Anyway, Mr. Wickam, Ms. Benett, I will leave to make arrangements. Would you like anything for lunch?"

He planned to retreat from the room.

However, Elisa waved her hand in refusal. "There's no need to prepare that yet. I'm going to my room to rest for a while. Then, I will prepare the next dose of medication."

Elisa returned to her suite right after saying that.

Thus, Thomas and Gareth were the only ones in the spacious living room.

Coincidentally, Ivan, tasked with managing company matters while they were away, suddenly sent a few documents and messages.

'Mr. May, can you show these project proposals to Mr. Wickam? The branch in Southdale requests for follow-up on this. If possible, we would like to start bidding.'

Thomas finished reading the message and tapped on the attachments. There were five of them.

Then, he glanced at the sullen-faced Gareth and gathered the courage to send those documents to him. "Mr. Wickam, Ivan sent a few project proposals. Can you check to see which to submit?"

Gareth remained sulky. The mention of work did not alleviate his mood at all.

Thomas felt anxious as he looked at him.

Then, Gareth pulled out his phone to look at the project proposals.

However, he snorted angrily after less than a minute. "They called these project proposals? Did a primary school kid write these? Tell them to rewrite everything. If they can't prepare a project proposal to my satisfaction by nine tonight, they should leave Wickam Group!"

Gareth's anger soared as he scolded.

Thomas did not dare to say anything.
