Elisa did not expect the attendant to be an imposter who carried a weapon.

The man moved so fast that Elisa did not have time to react. He grabbed her and pressed the sharp dagger against her neck.

"Let her go!" Gareth shouted and narrowed his eyes threateningly.

Elisa grabbed the man's hand, but he immediately figured out what she was trying to do. He pulled the dagger even closer to her neck.

Elisa's expression darkened. She could have easily dodged just now, but she wanted to discover why the man did this.

From the moment he attacked her, Elisa could tell he was unskilled.

The man also did not notice Elisa and Gareth exchanging glances when he grabbed her.

Otherwise, Gareth would never allow Elisa to fall into his hand.

The man dropped his act and said harshly, "Hand over Ganoderma Caligo. Otherwise, I will slash her throat!"

"You think killing me will get you Ganoderma Caligo?" Elisa was not afraid. She smirked when he revealed why he had come here.


Gareth remained silent.

He looked at the man fiercely.

Then, the man went to the door and shouted, "Guys, I've done it!"

Four men waiting outside the suite kicked open the door.

They rushed in and surrounded Gareth.

Gareth glared at them fiercely. His body was shrouded with an intimidating aura, making him seem like a creature straight out of hell.

The four men exchanged glances and attacked Gareth at once. It turned out that the man had only said those words to buy time.

His real intention was to snatch Ganoderma Caligo from Gareth and Elisa by any means.

Still, Gareth remained unfazed even when four men charged at him.

He dodged their every strike.
