Noelle had always found Cedric mysterious.

Cedric answered her question directly saying, "Yes, he and I are friends. The house you're currently living in belongs to him." Friends were meant to be used as shields after all.

Cedric turned to enter the private room as a waiter walked over respectfully. "Mr. Greene, here

is the menu."

"Hand it to her," Cedric said as he sat down. He laid back lazily on his chair with his arm resting on the side, revealing an inch of his arm.

Noelle did not take the menu either. Instead, she said, "You can just serve a few of your signature dishes."

She had been here once in her past life, and she knew that the restaurant did not have a fixed menu. They would rotate their menu everyday and serve their customers whatever they had prepared on that day.
