Haley's face turned a sickly shade of pale as my words hit her like a freight train. She shook her head vigorously, "No, that's not it at all. You're just trying to smear my name over the amusement park inheritance."

Conrad, standing beside her, glared daggers at her, gripping her wrist tightly, "Is that true, Haley? Tell me."

"No, I didn't, Conrad. Every time, it was you who initiated things," Haley retorted, her voice rising in desperation.

Conrad's face turned a shade of thunder, and tears began streaming down Haley's cheeks. She turned to me, "Felicia, you see, Conrad is the one at fault here. He knows exactly what happened between us; he was the one who came onto me from the start."

"Scumbag! Murderer! Shameless..."

The crowd around us began throwing insults at Conrad, and some women even went as far as hitting him.

"Stop," a commanding voice suddenly cut through the chaos.

Ernest emerged from the crowd, a smartphone in hand. He walked up to Haley and Conrad, said nothing, and simply played a recording.
