Chapter 811

"If it weren't for Ms. Willis poking her nose into things, we wouldn't be in this mess. Since Mr. Anderson is here, just let him take the person and go," Dustin said, clearly not wanting Sinclair to get involved any further.

Sinclair's refined features broke into a faint smile. "Does Mr. Wagner think the Perez family is easy to push around? You think you can just hold someone whenever you please and let them go whenever you feel like it?"

Dustin knew that Sinclair wasn't just here for Fanny; he had another agenda.

This whole exchange was just a dance of politeness, no one wanting to escalate things too quickly. But it seemed Sinclair had no intention of backing out.

Dustin was aware of his precarious situation. Without Allen's assistance and with Conrad not siding with him, he was pretty much on his own. One less enemy meant he could focus better on the others.

"What does Mr. Anderson want? An apology?" Dustin conceded a little.

Sinclair looked over to Fanny. "That's not for me to answer. You should ask her."

Dustin's jaw tightened, clearly displeased. Sinclair wasn't asking for an apology to Fanny; he was deliberately humiliating him.
