Dexter thumped his chest with a smug grin. "Ever heard of Green Shadow Media? The biggest media conglomerate in the country? I'm their go-to director. I can make a nobody a star overnight. And you-what can you possibly offer her? Got any of these connections? A pretty face ain't worth a dime if you don't have the clout like I do."

Chase chuckled dismissively, "Wow, that's quite the hot air you're blowing. I'm practically trembling."

"If you know what's good for you, you'll leave her with me, and I won't make a fuss. Otherwise, don't blame me for not playing nice."

Raising an eyebrow, Chase asked, "And if I refuse?"
