Chapter 62
Zeke thought Jackson’s attitude toward Serenity seemed a little too gentle. The great Mr. Valor he knew had never been gentle with women. He probably had never even treated the late Mira this way.
Suddenly, a thought flashed through Zeke’s mind. He thought about the previous advertisements that had been withdrawn.
Zeke was in turmoil.
Before this, they had thought that Jackson had a problem with the Shaw family and the high-profile marriage proposal because of Serenity. Thinking about it again, Serenity was indeed an issue, however, it was a completely different reason from what they had initially thought!
Meanwhile, Serenity and Jackson were eating a meal together at home, and Serenity was telling Jackson about what had happened at the Sanitation Office earlier.

“Sis, do you like living with me like this?” Jackson asked abruptly.
“I do,” Serenity replied without any hesitation.
“What if I change my identity in the future? Would you still live with me?” Jackson asked, his deep eyes staring straight at her.
Serenity blinked in confusion. A different identity? Did he mean something other than his homeless status? Lisa had kept saying she knew too little about him and that she was afraid that Serenity would be at a disadvantage.
Besides, Serenity had never asked Jack about his identity or real name. She only knew him as Jack, that he had no family, and nothing else.
Lisa also said that Jack did not look like a typical homeless man. Sometimes, Serenity thought the same too.
However, if he did not want to tell her, she would not ask. After all, everyone had their own secrets.
“I would,” she uttered softly.
“Would you like me no matter who I truly am?” Jackson asked again.
“Yeah, I’m fine no matter who you really are, okay?” Serenity then urged, smiling, “Hurry up and eat. Otherwise, the food will
