SAMANTHA'S POV:

Mom and Dad's wedding was happily held yesterday. It was just a simple celebration together with all the family members and their closest friends. Of course, Luke and his family, my former in-laws were also invited.

Dale gave them a two-week honeymoon package in Hawaii as a gift to them, while I also gave them another two-week vacation in the Philippines. Honestly, I didn't know that Dale and I had the same gift for them, but thanks to David who suggested me that the Philippines is one of the tropical countries with the most beautiful beaches not just in Asia but in the world.

My mom was a former surfer athlete when she was younger, so I think she would have loved to see the teardrop-shaped island of Siargao in Surigao del Norte in the Philippines. David told me that in addition to being the surf capital of the country, it also has white sand beaches, beautiful sunsets and natural rock and cave pools that Dad will definitely love.

They first went to Hawaii right after the celebration ended at 9:30 pm and used my dad's private jet.

So the next morning, I wasn't that surprised when I woke up alone in the bedroom and at home. And when Cali heard about it, she got easily intrigued and excited to see the white fish, so she asked her Uncle Dale to take her to the office with him. He promised the kid that he will buy her, her own pet, but since he's still looking for a new one, he decided to take his niece with him to teach her how to feed the sea creature. Now it's her second day in the office with her Uncle and I'm sure this won't be the last.
