Chapter 97: Are you in love?

~~~Here I go again, tripping on my own feet. Lately, it seems I've been being old foolish me. I mumble when I try to talk, I stumble when I try to walk like I'm in a state of shock when I'm with you. Here I go again, looking just like a clown. Somehow I got kind of shy, I can't look you in the eye. I come all apart inside when I'm with you~~~

Sam's POV:

"Dreamin', I must be dreamin' or am I really lying here with you? Baby, you take me in your arms and though I'm wide awake, I know my dream is comin' true..."

"Whoa! What is going on with you?" I asked with knitted eyebrows when I opened the door to my room and saw Jack exactly opening her door too. She was singing loudly in the hallway at exactly 7:00 in the morning.

But guess what? She ignored me and started walking towards the stairs and continued singing even when she's taking steps down the stairs. So, I had no choice but to follow her with confusion written all over my face.

"And oh, I just fall in love again, just one touch and then it happens every time there I go by. Just fall in love again and when I do, I can't help myself I fall in love with you..."

A wide smile crept into my lips when I saw Dale in the living room the moment I took the last step of the stairs. And just like me, confusion can also be found in his face. But there was an expression that couldn't hide from his eyes, amusement.

My best friend continued singing as she walked to the kitchen. And maybe she didn't notice my brother as she literally uses her right hand as an invisible microphone and sways gracefully in the silent melody in her head that only she can hear. But just like what my best friend did to me earlier, he also ignored me and asked again the question he had just ask a few seconds ago. "What is going on with your best friend?" He asked, inserting his hands in his pockets. He didn't even look at me as his eyes were too focused on the woman who seemed to be dreaming while singing at the kitchen counter. And I sighed.
