I could hardly move, I just stood there, stunned, as I watched the convertible disappear down the coastal road. Was that really Edwin in that car with a beautiful woman beside him? It couldn't be... could it? "Audrey?" The sound of Tina's voice snapped me out of my trance, and I turned to see her and the others all staring at me with concerned expressions on their faces. "What's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost or something."

I shook my head as if to dispel my thoughts and forced a smile, returning to my friends. "It's nothing." I lied. "I just thought I saw. never mind. I must be seeing things."
