Lewis walked over step by step, stopping in front of Doris. He stared into her eyes, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. “Playing hard to get?”

Doris tried to dodge Lewis, but he grabbed the back of her collar. “Not so fast. Let’s talk about how you ended up in my bed.”

“I told you, I don’t know,” Doris said, trying to pull his hand away. “Let go. You’ll ruin the shirt.”

“It’s my shirt. If it gets ruined, it’s on me,” Lewis said, not letting go.
