Ares & Eros's POV

Dinner could not have ended any quicker than it should've as I was now approaching 8:30pm when everyone was beginning to finish up with dessert, my eyes continuing to watch the door that our mate had left through only minutes before, fighting the urge to chase after her.

"Dam it" I growled, not liking the fact she had yet to return after excusing herself from the Alpha's table.

"Mate in trouble, Mate needs us' whines Zeus who was feeling on edge, not liking the fact that the Future Beta, Gamma and Delta had all but followed her when we could not.

"Trouble?" I ask, wanting to make sure that he truly meant it, an uneasy feeling washing over me as well as I move to glance at Eros who also nods, the rest of our group nodding to confirm theirs. as well which gives me all I need as I quickly move to stand not wanting to stay and mingle with

all the others when our mate needed us.

"What the fuck is going on?" growls Eros just as we move to exit the dining hall only to be stopped by a voice, indicating that someone had approached us during our haste to leave.

"Alpha Moonheart's, did you all enjoy dinner?" asks the Beta, Beta Collin as he appears next to us.

"Yes, dinner was wonderful thanks, but please if you'll excuse me, me and my brother are hoping to find someone" replies Eros, hoping that Collin would leave them alone so they could search for the missing girl, her scent now faint with all hope of tracking her. "Oh? Maybe I can help you" asks Collin, his gaze neutral.

"If you must know, we are looking for a girl" answers Kai, trying to keep things simple and straight to the point.

"A girl? What kind of girl? As I'm sure you're both aware there are plenty of women here" chuckles Collin, his voice holding a musing tone to it.

"And we are, but no, we are not looking for these girls" I snap. "We were looking for the one who
