Athena's POV

-Beach House-

When arriving at the beach house I couldn't help but be blown away. "Whoa, this place is huge' I muse, the smell of salty water and fresh ocean breeze all but hitting my senses, the cool crisp breeze all but brushing my skin as Artemis purrs deep within my mind. 'Mmm... This, This is heaven' purrs Artemis, enjoying the scenery around us from behind my eyes.

'You say that now, just wait until our mates force us to play in the ocean, you won't be saying that once you're a wet wolf' I giggle, knowing just how much she hated getting wet unless it was from a shower.

Just then I suddenly feel a pair of warm yet familiar arms wrap around me carefully, pulling me into a firm yet warm body as they did. "Everything okay love?" whispers the voice of Eros, our bodies all but molded into one.

"Yes, I was just enjoying the scenery among other things" I admit, my eyes still on the view before me. A vast sea all but surrounding us for miles and miles on either side all but amazed me. "Besides, I've never seen a place like this before, ever." "Never?" asks Eros, his arms still holding me gently. My body all but enjoying his touch as he did.

"Never. Not even my own aunt and uncle would ever let me come to a place like this. I was always just a useless orphan, a slave for them to use and abuse when they saw fit" I all but whisper, my chest hurting at remembering the way my family all but treated me. Growling, Eros all but holds me tighter. "Well no more. If your family should ever, EVER, show their faces around you again, then they'll have to answer to both Ares and I, do you hear me?"

Nodding, I move to change the subject, knowing that this was supposed to be our official honeymoon, not one filled with pain of my past for while I may not have approved of what my family did to me, it all but shaped me into who I was today. "Where's Ares?" I ask.

"He's inside, getting things ready for us" chuckles Eros, a shiver running through me as it did.

Then, as if on cue, does Ares's voice ring over our bond. 'Everything's all set, ready whenever you are our lovely Luna.
