Athena's POV

-Next Day-

After learning about the events that played out after hearing Adrian's story of being watched and Ares and Eros all but finding multiple scents just outside of our home, I had all but decided to have my mates parents all but watch the children knowing that they would be safer with them then at home with me.

"Athena dear, are you sure?" asks Gwen, her eyes all but filled with concern as she carefully takes two of the triplets while Alarick takes

"Yes, Gwen. I need to know that my children will be safe. After learning things that I probably shouldn't have learned, me knowing that they are with you helps ease my own fear." I all but admit to her, hoping she would listen to me.

"Aww honey, no, this isn't how things are supposed to work. These babies need you. If anything we'll come over to you and help you there. But otherwise we don't feel okay with taking them from their mama" replies Gwen, not wanting Athena to feel like this was her only choice.
