After yesterday's events, Eros and I had eventually been scolded by Athena over the fact that we had been technically neglecting our mate and family. So attempting to fix it by speaking to her, Athena decided she herself wasn't having any of that and had gone and closed

herself off in the bathroom, refusing to speak to us.

A simple task that should have been simple enough to fix, became harder than it really needed to be. Athena having been so angry with us that she had eventually stormed off. Something that she had the very right to do for after all, it was totally our fault.

For while we were totally focused on protecting her and our home, we on the other hand were also failing as mates, failing to see that her needs were well met and clearly they were not. No. They were far from it.

'We sure messed things up with mate haven't we?' asks Zeus, a soft whine sounding as he did.

'It would seem so' I admit openly to him.

'So how are we going to fix it then?' questions Zeus, the need to be closer to her growing.

'How about a Pack BBQ? That way not only can we spend time with her, the entire pack can as well, allowing them to truly see their Luna and Queen for what she's worth. A beautiful mate and mother' I say, hoping that Athena would at least be willing to go for a pack activity opposed to just being locked away from us.

Nodding in silence, I carefully moved to arrange the necessary things to ensure that we had everything that we needed to host a Pack BBQ for this evening.
