Athena's POV

Next Day

It's about 8 o'clock in the morning when I finally begin to stir, the events leading up to last night slowly returning to me as tears begin to rise, attempting to hold them at bay, the presence of having both of my mates nearby comforting. I can't cry now... I have to stay strong, for them, for my children but most of all my family. They need me and because of that I can't afford to be weak, I reply to myself, trying to get myself mentally prepared for what is about to happen. Sighing, I move to take deep even breaths before attempting to wiggle myself free of my mates only for them to hold me closer, a voice ringing in my ear as they did.
