Ares and Eros's POV

After watching Athena and Emma leave alongside Elise and Cara along with Iris and Addison do we decide to move back into the house, having wanted to see her off before moving to

get ourselves ready for the day.

"Do you think she caught onto why Emily didn't go with them?" asks Eros to his brother.

"Doubtful, but you know our mate. She'll find a way to figure out why Emily didn't go with her" admits Ares to his brother, knowing Athena would if not weasel it out of Emma as those two were such close friends and Athena was their Luna.

Chuckling, Eros can only nod his head in agreement, Athena always the more observant one among their group even if she tried not to be.

"Come, we should shower. We have an important meeting this afternoon and we need to keep a clear head when going into it" remarks Ares, his eyes now on his brother who nods.

"Do we have too? I would rather spend this time with our children than talking with the stupid Council in regards to Lily and her open

ended threats" groans Eros.

"Yes, we have too. Father would kill us if he found out about it. Besides father as well as Alex and Rick will both be present during this as well. The goal behind the meeting is to see if the Council will do anything or if our suspicions about them are true" remarks Ares, for in the beginning of everything, both Ares and Eros had been harboring extreme caution with the Council. For ever since they had come to witness the Alpha and Luna Ceremony they had been off, as if planning their own shady schemes.

"I hate it when you're right though" grumbles Eros, just as both he and Ares make it upstairs and to their bedroom, the very same bedroom that Athena shared with them. For when an Alpha was called to duty then it was up to the Alpha to accept their role in protecting what belonged to them which in this case was their Luna and their children. Pack included.

"I hate when I'm right too, but sometimes it can't be helped" remarks Ares, just as he moves over to their joint closet space, moving to grab clothes himself while Eros moves to shower first, the need to clear his head rising.
