Waking up the next day was complete and utter bliss for Athena. Her mates both sound asleep right next to her even as she slowly begins to stir, a smile slowly gracing her features as she carefully moves to climb from the bed.

The house still silent as Adrian and his siblings were still staying with Gwen and Alarick. The weekend belonging to Athena as her birthday was fast approaching and soon she would be turning twenty.

'Are you excited?' asks Artemis as she slowly stirs within Athena's mind.

'Excited? For what?' questions Athena, as she slowly makes her way downstairs to begin cooking breakfast for her and her mates.

Scoffing at the word birthday, Athena moves to speak up, 'Excited? How can I be when all my previous past ones have been nothing but lies. Nothing but pain. My last known birthday where I ever felt loved or happy was when I was 9 years old.
