Elizabeth’s POV: 

As soon as the maids put Jennifer to bed, I heard someone shouting, “Mrs.Jones, bad news! Caroline fainted!”

I felt my heart leap to my throat in an instant.I ran out as quickly as I could and found Caroline in the arms of the maid with her eyes closed.
