"Ouch!" Penny yelped as she hit the ground hard, landing violently on the lawn. She winced, crumpled up on the grass, and started questioning her life choices. "Ouch... ouch... that was a freaking bad fall."

She lay there for a moment, lamenting her situation until she managed to recover. It was good that her mind, body, and soul had been well-trained in prison. After all, she used to get beaten up pretty badly when she was what they called "fresh meat."

"Ouch..." she whispered, this time more calmly, as she lay on the grass. She stared up at the canopy above her and smiled. "I'm fine now!"

"Huh?" She scrunched up her nose as a leaf brushed against her nostrils. "What the heck?"
