Chapter 834: Big sister

Chapter 834: Big sister

[MAMA Restaurant]

Right after Charles, Haines, and Stephen's ride arrived at the restaurant, Jessa was already standing outside to welcome them. When Haines tried to open the door, Jessa suddenly kicked it back to make way for herself, leaving Haines momentarily stunned.

Knock knock.

"Who is she?" Stephen narrowed his eyes, staring at the woman knocking on the side of his window. "What kind of brute does your wife hire for the parking space?"

"Did she just... kick the car door?" Haines looked back at Charles, unable to believe that, even now, Jessa was still ruthless with him. If only Haines knew that Jessa's ruthlessness extended to everyone, not just him.

"Uh, why do I have to see her immediately?" Charles mumbled, shaking his head as he shifted his eyes to Stephen. "You should open the window."

Stephen frowned. "And why would I do that? I don't even know her. You two, get out and leave me alone. You've already arrived."

"Yes, we did, but you saw how she kicked the door for Haines, right?" Charles sighed. "Just open the goddamn window."

"Charles Bennet, I've had enough of your nonsense. You're no longer the head of the family, nor do you have any position in the company. Therefore, you cannot just boss me around."

"I'm not bossing you around. That woman will break the window if you don't." Charles jerked his chin toward the window, making Stephen turn his head.

As soon as Stephen's eyes landed on the window, he saw Jessa walking away, only to reach for the small barricade and drag it toward the car.

"What the― is she insane?!" Stephen gasped, seeing that Jessa didn't seem like she was planning to stop. "Is she a rogue?!"

"She's worse," Charles and Haines answered in unison, making Stephen look back at them in disbelief. Seeing the seriousness in their eyes, he didn't question this anymore.
