Chapter 879: I never thought school could be fun.

"Ahem, ahem! Mic check!" Lily tapped the microphone, wincing as the sharp echo suddenly assaulted her ears. When she turned to the side, she saw one of the "students" give her a thumbs up.

She smiled and nodded, looking ahead, noticing that most people had turned their attention to the stage where she was standing. "I guess we all had plenty of time to catch up with each other, but for now, let's focus here first."

Everyone smiled at the person on stage, their expressions soft. No matter how most of them had drifted apart after high school, being back in this place and surrounded by the people they used to see every single day put everyone in a nostalgic, calming mood.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has come today. I know all of you are busy with your own lives, and some of you had to cancel important appointments just to be here," Lily said sincerely. "I really appreciate you coming, and for those who couldn't make it, I'm sure you wanted to be here, but I understand this reunion was a little too abrupt to fit into your schedule."

Lily paused, smiling in front of everyone with a twinkle in her eyes. Although there were people who couldn't make it today, the gymnasium was almost half-filled. Considering how massive the fan club used to be, this number was already plenty.

"It's been over a decade, but... let's all have fun today!" she announced. "Today's surprise theme is: Going Back in Time. As of today, it's the year 2010, the first- ever official assembly of Penny's fan club!"

At the same time, pictures of the fan club from thirteen years ago flashed behind her. A beautiful smile spread across everyone's faces as they watched slides of their younger selves one by one.

"Thirteen years ago, this fan club was formed out of mere admiration Ginnie and I had for Penny. Thanks to the Bennet Brothers and all those who helped us recruit more members, our first General Assembly was beyond successful," Lily continued, speaking into the microphone with a persuasive voice, watching the slides behind her with a smile.

Perhaps it was the ambiance or the pictures, but people started feeling a little emotional.

"Today is a day to reminisce.
