He gazed at his phone again to make sure he read correctly. "It seems Chairman Bennet has fallen ill, and he's given full authority not to his son, but to Stephen Bennet."

"Yes! Not even to his heir, the current head of the family!" Theo's mouth fell open in disbelief. "No one has confirmed it yet, but people are saying Atlas was kicked out of the company!"

"Impossible!" Mr. Miller intoned. "Even if the Bennets aren't getting along, the chairman's best interest has always been the company. It's his life. There's no way he would give Stephen Bennet full authority."
