Chapter 1028: Talk about luck!

[Warning: Some parts of this Chapter contain sensitive scenes.]

Little did Hugo know, someone that very night fit the description the man had told

him.

Someone who found the place without an invitation, who pretended to be an invitee, and someone who didn't fit the criteria.

Talk about luck!

If Patricia had found that letter much sooner, perhaps she would've met the previous boss and he might've found her entertaining enough. But alas, unbeknownst to her, whoever had told her about the location of the Information Center wanted her dead.

"Ahh!" Another loud squeal escaped Patricia as she was tossed inside an abandoned house. She hit her back against the torn-down wall. Despite the additional pain in her body, Patricia quickly scooped herself up and hugged her knees.

"No more," she muttered shakily, pushing herself away from the men standing a few steps from her. "Please. I take it back. Don't kill me."

The three men looked at each other, one of them lighting up a cigarette. He was the one who had sat in the front passenger seat. After taking a long drag and puffing the smoke into the air, he snapped his eyes at Patricia and then at the other man who had beaten her ruthlessly.

"The orders are orders," said the man with the cigarette. "Just make sure that once you're done with her, you do what needs to be done."
