Zoren arched a brow, a little surprised by Finn's plate. "Not bad."

"Not bad? Well, I guess it is, considering I barely prepared the easiest and simplest meal," Finn shrugged indifferently, flashing Zoren a smile as the latter looked back at him. "Although I'm surprised the legendary CEO Pierson would cook for his wife."

"Why is that surprising? I'm just doing what husbands are supposed to do for their wives," Zoren said, picking up the plate and heading toward the dining room. "It's the bare minimum."

Finn's smile twitched slightly. "Are you insinuating something, Mr. Pierson?"

"I'm speaking facts, but if it hits a nerve, maybe someone needs to step up their game or raise their standards."

"Haha..." Finn brushed off the comment with a laugh, but he had to admit Zoren was a bit annoying. He never expected Zoren to be like this—as if Zoren would let anyone take away his title of CEO or anything except the title of being a good husband.
