About twenty minutes later, the car pulled up to the Rosewood residence. Through the window, Elysia immediately saw Bella pruning branches in the garden, appearing quite content after her being away for a few days.

As the car stopped, Elysia opened the door and stepped out. Just as her feet touched the ground, Mary rushed toward her, her face lighting up with joy. “Elysia, you’re back,” she exclaimed.
