The car drove into Sivro, and as it passed near a shopping mall, Elysia spotted a familiar figure. Zoe was kneeling on the ground, dressed in tattered clothes, her face dirty and unkempt. In front of her was a chipped bowl, a pitiful sight.

Though her appearance had drastically changed, Elysia recognized her immediately–Bella. ‘So this is what happened after she left the Rosewood family and Jackson family? Reduced to begging on the streets?‘ Elysia thought, her expression unreadable.

Yuna, who had also noticed Zoe, nodded. “Yes, Boss.”

Bella knelt on the ground, pleading for spare change, but no one paid her any attention. Tears streamed down her cheeks as despair began to take hold. Just as she was about to give up, a harsh blow sent her spiraling further into misery.

Security guards from the mall approached, grabbing her by the arms and hauling her to her feet. She struggled desperately, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t break free.

In a moment of desperation, she bit down hard on one of the guard’s wrists. The guard yelped in pain and let go, causing the others to release her as well.

The bitten guard, furious, kicked Bella to the ground. “You filthy beggar! Are you some kind of dog?” He spat, delivering another kick.

Bella curled into a ball, shielding herself from the blows and insults, too afraid to fight back. Just as the guard raised his foot for a third kick, a sleek black car pulled up in front of them.
