Chapter 352

Yehoshua gave a small nod as if to say, “If you’re not going to wash, should we do it for you?”

Holden felt pretty annoyed. He glanced around at Fabian and Javier, but neither of them seemed willing to help. He turned to Quinita behind him, giving her a look as if saying, “Mom, look. They’re picking on me!”

Seeing Holden’s sad face. Quinita felt her heart soften. She quickly glanced at Edward and said, “They’ve never done the dishes, have they? Maybe we should just use the dishwasher.”

“It’s just doing dishes. How hard can it be? Plus, they’ve got to start somewhere. They’ve had everything handed to them their whole lives. It’s time they learned to do something on their own,” Edward replied.

“Did you hear that?” Yehoshua raised an eyebrow.

Looking completely lost, Holden nodded and suddenly found a rag in his hand. “Alright, then show us you’re actually paying attention,” Yehoshua added.

With that, he turned around and started wiping down the counter.

Holden stared at the rag for a moment, sighed deeply, and shuffled over to the sink. Without a word of complaint, he started washing the dishes.

He really didn’t have much of a choice–being the youngest meant he was at the bottom of the food chain.

Meanwhile, Edward was holding Quinita in his arms as he headed toward the couch. Elysia glanced at them briefly and then turned her attention to the four busy people in the kitchen. She felt a bit sorry for them–though that lasted only about three seconds.

But before she could even finish feeling bad for them, Quinita noticed that Elysia hadn’t followed and stopped. She waved her hand and called out to her. “Elysia, come over here!”

Elysia quickly caught up and linked arms with Quinita. Once they were both sitting on the couch, Quinita seemed to remember something and asked, “Elysia, where have you been staying while you’ve been in Sivro?”

At that, Elysia froze. She hadn’t expected Quinita to ask that. In the kitchen, the four people stopped for a moment, their movements pausing as they all listened.

Quinita didn’t know that Elysia was the owner of Arcanum House.

Elysia took a moment to think and then answered, “I used to live at Arcanum House, but I moved to Royal Bay.”

The second Quinita mentioned “Royal Bay,” the four people in the kitchen froze. They exchanged glances, clearly knowing who lived in Royal Bay–Zane.
