Chapter 32

Chapter 32:

Her words landed like a sharp slap across Sloane’s face. The real blow was that both the director and the producer appeared to share this opinion.

Sloane had no one to blame but herself; she enjoyed putting on the facade of a refined heiress for her adoring fans.

Behind the scenes, however, her reputation was infamous. She consistently arrived late, leaving the entire crew waiting without so much as an apology.

Her acting was abysmal—she constantly forgot her lines, her expressions were wooden, and her movements were over-the-top, utterly missing the mark in bringing her character to life.

On top of that, she would throw fits and boss the crew around whenever things didn’t go as planned, making the set a miserable place to work.
