If Kimberly hadn't known about the earrings in Maddox's jacket, she would have been curious to know who had bought the earrings. However, she knew it right now.

Now that Vera had brought it up, she suddenly blushed guiltily.

"Take a guess!" Vera thought that Kimberly didn't know, so she urged Kimberly to make a guess.

Kimberly did not guess. She just lowered her eyes and whispered, "How would I know?"
