Turning around, Minerva scooped a bowl of plain soup and placed it in front of him.

"Your dinner."

Maddox had already been waiting for a long time on an empty stomach, and seeing that there was only a bowl of plain soup, he was a little upset. "That's it?"

Minerva gave a fake smile. "What do you expect? You're seriously injured now, so you can only eat plain food like this. It's good enough that you even get to have soup."

How could that be possible? Maddox realized that the taste and color of the soup in front of him were clearly not the same with the ones on the roadside.
