Cerys intentionally mentioned that she delivered the script to Trevor at the hospital. She was wondering if Emma would show concern for Trevor after hearing that he was in the hospital.

“Oh? Is that so?” Emma responded to the topic, but her tone was very polite. “Please wish him a specdy recovery on my behalf.
Cerys quietly sighed and ended the call.
Walking over to the elevator, she was just about to lift her hand to press the button when the elevator door opened. Zachary walked out from within, looking very unruly as he searched his pockets for something.
When he saw her, he smiled brightly and greeted her. “Hi, Cherry.”
He had always liked calling her ‘Cherry for some reason, which made the relationship between the two of them seem very intimate. However, she knew that he was a playboy and it was very common for him to flirt with women.
For that reason, she stepped back and greeled him. “Good morning, Mr. Manson.”

She raised her eyes to look at herself in the reflection of the elevator mirror-large black-rimmed glasses, cold and dull eyes, and a monotonous professional suit in shades of black, white, and gray stared back at her. Falling in love with a person she could never obtain was both sweet and painful.
Emma had heard the secret meaning contained within Cerys’ statement, but she deliberately chose to ignore it. What could she do even if she did not ignore it? As Trevor’s ex-wife, it was impossible for her to continue showing concern for him.
Besides, he did not lack for her concern. Just ten minutes ago, the post detailing Crystal’s appearance at the hospital to visit Trevor had already appeared at the top of the current trending topics.
Emma generally did not pay much attention to such gossip. It was Susanna who sent that information to her.

Emma said nothing. She was recalling the scene where Trevor had been admitted into the hospital due to his gastric issues in the middle of the night.
