Cyrus drove Emma home as planned, and because Cyrus was a talker, he and Emma had a pleasant conversation the entire journey.

“Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help.” After some thought, Emma suggested. “That reminds me that I still haven’t thanked Dr. Spencer properly. Why don’t I treat you two to a meal?”
She thought since Kaleb was the one who recommended Yvette to her, the two must be familiar with each other. So it wouldn’t be a big deal if she treated both of them to a meal.
