Without her saying much, Yonas had already sent someone to check the security cameras. "I know. Don't worry. I'll find out who did this. Just go inside. It's pretty cold out here," he said, his voice steady.

Yasmine wrapped herself in his jacket, feeling his warmth seep into her. A spark of comfort lit up her heart. He always showed up when she felt the most lost, like a beam of sunlight breaking through the clouds. She leaned a little closer to him, seeking more warmth.

Her heart raced as her thoughts shifted from fear to anger, mixed with the comfort that Yonas provided. "Thanks a lot. I owe you one, she said, a smile forming on her lips.

Since Yasmine had walked away, Helen had been pacing nervously near the door to the garden. When she finally saw a server come out alone and shut the door, a shiver of excitement and fear ran through her.

She could already picture what would happen next. If people found out, Yasmine would become the target of everyone's scorn, and Yonas would definitely find out just how disgusting she was.
