Selena quickly shook her head. "She's not home, please leave."

"Mrs. Flynn, we've checked the surveillance on all the roads. Yvette and Mr. Flynn went straight home from the auction. Please cooperate with our work," the officers said. "What do you want with her?" Selena asked.

"She's suspected of inciting a crime and needs to be taken back for investigation," an officer said sternly.

Selena calmly stated, "That's impossible; someone must be framing her."

"Mrs. Flynn, without evidence or a warrant, we wouldn't be here. Please cooperate with our investigation," the officer insisted.

As Selena tried to argue, Xavier had already opened the entrance to the basement. "Yvette is right here," he said. The police exchanged glances and hurried down to catch her.

When Yvette was brought out, her face was pale, and her shoulders were trembling. She tried to grab Xavier, "Xavier, save me!" But Xavier watched her coldly the entire time, "Tell them everything you know."

Yvette realized Xavier wouldn't save her anymore. She looked towards Selena in pain, "Mom, help me!"

Selena hurried over, looking at Yvette, she said, "Be careful with her, she's pregnant. Can you take responsibility if anything happens?"
