Ivette Mayfield stomped her foot in frustration, "Are you planning to force a confession? If you lay a finger on Caleb, the Mayfield family won't let it go."

The atmosphere suddenly turned tense as a robust voice demanded, "What's going on here?" Uncle Jared entered, frowning. Uncle Jared soon returned, his eyes icy as he addressed Claire and Christine: "Caleb brought this on himself by bothering Yasmine. She was right to take action, and he deserved to be taken away. Besides, I can't believe the Mayfield family would just stand by while their only grandson is in police custody. If it were me, I'd have already pulled strings to get him out."

"Very well," Christine said, standing up with her cane. Her eyes, foggy and full of malice, shifted from Yasmine to Uncle Jared.

"Is this how the Sanchez family treats in-laws? Maybe we should gather the ancestors and elders of both the Mayfield family and the Sanchez family to sort this out, or else, what happens to our Mayfield family's reputation?" Claire huffed, her cane hitting the ground with a thud, "Let's go."

Once they were gone, Uncle Jared turned to Yasmine, his face full of concern. "What's going on here? Why didn't you tell me yesterday that Caleb had dared to bully you? Did you get hurt?"
