Sarah carefully closed the window, making sure to secure the latch. Her expression grew serious - there would be no escaping this storm.

The rain finally began to fall. The yellowed light bulb in the room provided her with a small sense of warmth and security.

The patter of rain drummed steadily against the roof, striking the tiles heavily. Silence enveloped everything except for the dancing raindrops.
