"Excuse me, what did you just say?" Gabriel's eyebrows furrowed as he wondered if Eveline had thanked him.

Contrarily, Eveline abruptly snapped out of her reverie and stammered away. "Nothing, can we just get started?" she said, brushing off Gabriel's comment.

Without pondering too much, Gabriel started teaching Eveline. He explained everything to her in detail, covering the topic he had mentioned in the book.

Eveline had always looked up to Gabriel, which eventually inspired her to be among the top students. She wanted to leave an impression on Gabriel, so she would put in a lot of effort to get his recognition.
