Chapter 65 65: I thought you knew it

Gracey's offensive behavior toward a classmate resulted in a one-week suspension from the college and her removal as the class representative.

When word got out to the other students, she became the talk of the college, with everyone accusing her of targeting Tiffany's reputation and judging her for being a jealous freak.

However, Eveline could not accept this reality because it did not seem to fit well with her mentality.

"Drink some water. I am sure the debate caused your throat to become sore." Stefan said passing her the water bottle.

Now that the long sports day had finally come to an end, they were standing on the playing field, ready to head home.

While some students found the game exciting, others were discouraged by their defeat. For Eveline, though, it was more than just another bad day that she was unable to attend the celebration.

She still had a couple of victories from the other games she played, despite losing the volleyball match. However, following the events in the dean's office, Eveline's sports day turned into the most draining day of the week.

She took the bottle from him and said, "Thank you," before taking a sip.

Eveline did not see Gabriel anywhere during that time, which piqued her curiosity about his whereabouts.

"Where is Gabriel?" She asked, unable to contain her curiosity.

"Why? Are you missing him already?" Stefan laughed, making Eveline scowl at him.

"Scoff, why would I miss him? I just asked because it's getting late," she said, proceeding to sip from the bottle.

Since only Stefan and Tiffany were aware of Eveline's love for Gabriel, she never took offense at what Stefan said. However, she was much over that love now, and she did not want anyone to keep bringing up that foolishness by teasing her.

As they waited for their departure, Eveline ignored what he was saying and turned to face Daniel and his friends.

"He is in the dean's office," Stefan remarked, regaining the silence from Eveline.

The scowl on her face deepened and she gulped the water down her throat. "Why would he go there?" she asked, her voice raspy.

Stefan sneaked a glance at her before going back to doing what he was doing, acting like he didn't hear when the twisting sound of the bottle startled him and he gaped at Eveline in shock.

"What is going on, Brother Stefan, and why is Gabriel in Dean Benjamin's office?" With a warning knuckle twist, she posed the question.
