Chapter 130 130: It's like you're reborn

Jenny was startled by the thick smoke coming from Alex's room, and she screamed as well as banged on the door with the hope to hear him back.

Her voice scared the rest of the family, and they raced to her location, only to see her cry her heart out.

"Henry, please get Alex out," she pleaded, staring at her husband, who had no idea what had happened to their kid this time.

He nodded in agreement and ordered the servant to retrieve the spare key to his room, but before the man could take a step forward, the door opened and everyone's gaze turned to Alex, who appeared unconcerned about the mess he had made inside his room.

Jenny choked, brushed the smoke from her face, and swiftly reached for her son.

"Alex, honey, are you alright? What's with this smoke?" She inquired, directing the maids to quickly go inside and deal with the situation.

Jenny knew her kid had been triggered again, and the cause was clear when she saw Alex look at his father with disgust.

"What's wrong with you, Alex? Are you trying to kill us all?" Henry snapped, giving his son the same glare in response.

Henry had been wary of his son since the first time he attacked him.

The trauma was so severe that he had to beat his son to a pulp just to control his crazy.

He had no idea what was causing his insane behavior, but he tried everything he could to keep him under control. But, after all these years, I'm guessing there have been no big advancements.

'That bitch, she couldn't even heal my son,' he mentally criticized Lilith as she failed to perform her duties.

Jenny observed the tension between the father and son pair and instantly said, "Shut up, Henry! Can't you tell he's not well, and why do you still keep scolding him?"

Jenny abandoned the idea of cooperating with her husband this time because she couldn't take his intrusion in their lives anymore.

He failed as a father long ago today, but also as a spouse, and she only chose to be with him because she did not want to risk their public image.

Henry's eyes soften when he heard his wife's words.

"Darling, I did mean to scold him-"

"Enough, I don't want you to talk to Alex like that, especially after you failed to be a father figure to him," she said, grabbing Alex's hand and dragging him away.

Henry watched the two leave before being distracted by a servant who called him.
