Chapter 15 Why Doesn’t She Just Drop Out?

Eileen was nothing but thankful that she cared enough about her studies. She would not have had the courage to just walk out of class like that otherwise.

She knew now that she was able to handle the entrance exams enough to get a barely decent grade. If she was to bear down and study hard, she might just make an average grade.

Eileen was decent at art subjects, but not so at science or math.

The thing was that she did not have much time to catch up on those subjects. After school she had cooking classes and piano classes lined up…

Eileen sat in front of the window, running a hand through her hair frustratedly. No, she was just wasting time like this.

She pushed those thoughts away quickly enough, and got back to studying. The library was usually only frequented by people from the higher classes. Now that recess was over, there was no one in there aside from the librarian.

She was used to being alone, and enjoyed a setting like this.

Just then, someone walked out of the teacher’s office.

They spotted Eileen sitting at the library, and took a photo at once.

It was quickly sent to the school forum, under the photo from earlier.

Look, Eileen Swan’s hiding in the library.

Within a minute, someone had commented: D*mn, respect to Elm Smith! I can’t believe he just got her out of the way like that, I finally won’t have to see her in class anymore.

Ha, as if I bet you she’ll be back in less than two days.

That’s impossible.
