Aurelia stopped the car by the roadside.

She quickly pulled out her phone and tapped into Instagram.

The top post was from Chad, a photo of him looking suave while on his way to work on the bus.

The second one was from Curtis.

There were three photographs, respectively taken from high school, university, and just before. her rebirth.

The three photographs all clearly depicted them as a young couple deeply in love at first glance.

Looking at these photos now, she felt a sharp sting of pain. At times, she even wished she could. go back to

her high school days. If she could, she would have steered clear of any involvement with Curtis.

The caption was a lengthy essay of their profound affection for each other. He declared that he intended to spend his entire life with her and hoped that their circle of friends would bear witness to their commitment. He even stated that if he ever betrayed her, he was certain to meet an unfortunate end.

In the end, he even mentioned his plans to propose to her, hoping that they could build a happy family together.

They had many mutual friends, as well as classmates from high school.

She was still on the phone with Charlie.

She had witnessed even more disgusting aspects of Curtis. An Instagram post was nothing.

“Don’t worry about me. I’ve been acting with lines for the past two days. I even got to be the stand–in for the lead actor today. Rest assured, if I give it my all, I might just bring home the Best. Actor award for our family one day,” Charlie said with a hearty laugh.

Reality can be cruel, but dreams must still be pursued, as they might just come true one day.

Aurelia knew that Charlie was always optimistic and she didn’t hesitate to praise him. “Your acting skills have always been excellent. You’re the best male actor I’ve ever seen!”
