Outside the TV Station, Angela had just driven her car out of the parking lot when she was abruptly halted- by someone appearing out of nowhere.

She slammed on the brakes, her expression drastically changing.

Where did this person come from?

She had been feeling unsettled for the past couple of days. Lost in a daze, he made frequent mistakes at work. Now, she had almost run someone down.

Her career would be effectively over if she had accidentally injured someone at the entrance of the TV Station.

With a layer of cold sweat on his back, Angela took a deep breath, suppressing the frustration in her heart. She then got out of the car with a look of concern.

“Are you alright? Do you need me to take you to the hospital? I’m sorry. You might have been in my blind spot. I didn’t see anyone.”

Melanie hadn’t expected that Angela nearly ran her down, which gave her quite a scare.

“I think I just twisted my ankle. I’m fine otherwise.”

“Melanie?” Angela’s face darkened upon seeing who it was.

Just as Melanie was about to smile, she noticed the rapidly changing expression on Angela’s face. She immediately realized what was going on.
