Chapter 52

Cameron had reserved a swanky VIP suite in the hotel's club and even brought in a bunch of famous singers and dancers to liven up the main hall with upbeat songs and sizzling moves.

Greta glanced around at the jubilant scene, tears of joy welling up in her eyes. Clutching Cameron's hand, she said, "Cameron, thank you so much for throwing this party for me. I'm truly over the moon."

Greta gently rested her head on his shoulder. "Meeting you, Cameron, is the greatest blessing of my life."

"Too bad it were my biggest misfortune," came a voice.

Nellie had just strolled into the club's hall when she caught a whiff of Greta and Cameron's sugary exchange. She couldn't resist throwing in a snarky comment.
