Cameron's eyes welled up with tears as he watched the joyful scene between Nathan and Nina, feeling like his heart was being ripped apart. He made a hasty retreat. The roar of a car engine and the shaking ground caught Nathan's attention. Nathan dashed to the door, just in time to see the car speeding off. The familiar license plate sent a shiver down his spine. Memories from six years ago flooded back.

On that day, he learned from a TV broadcast that Cameron and Nellie were getting married. He felt like he'd lost it completely, driving his sports car like a maniac to the entrance of the Dawson Estate. He blocked Cameron's wedding car and got out, pleading with him, "Cameron, you better treat your bride right. If you ever hurt her, I won't let it slide."

Back then, he was just a scrawny teenager, skinny and weak, a far cry from who he was now. Cameron probably hadn't recognized him all these years. But Nathan remembered that day vividly, and the wedding car Cameron drove was the same modest sedan he'd just seen. What was Cameron up to? Getting nostalgic about the past?

Nathan's eyes turned icy, and he clenched his fists, a dark and fierce energy radiating from him.

"Daddy," came the soft, sweet voice of his little girl, pulling Nathan back to reality. The chill vanished as he scooped her up and headed inside. He didn't notice Nina's eyes lingering on Cameron's retreating car.

"Daddy's not in the best mood today. I need to see your mommy. Why don't you go hang out with your uncles, Nina?"

"Okay!" Nina tumbled off Nathan and dashed downstairs to the bedroom. Dominick and Ford were snoozing away. The little munchkin stood by the bed, looked at Dominick, then at Ford, and finally climbed onto the bed, tickling Dominick's nose with a strand of hair. "Achoo!" Dominick sneezed awake. Seeing Nina, he happily lifted her up, tossing her into the air. "Nina, what brings you here?"
