Chapter 821

He looked at Nathalie, utterly baffled. "Why'd you bring her here?" Nathalie settled into the sofa across from Cameron, gently pulling Cindy to sit beside her. She gave Cindy's hand a comforting pat.

"This is the companion I found for Nina," she explained.

Cameron's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "What is this, the Middle Ages? Nina doesn't need a companion."

Nathalie kept her tone composed and sincere. "I've been thinking about it, and I realized Nina's loneliness is why she's so down. I found someone to keep her company. "It's not your decision," Nathalie shot back, unyielding.

"Let Nina make up her own mind," Cameron told Greta. "Go fetch her."

Greta nodded, flashing a knowing smile. "Sure thing." She turned and headed out, soon arriving in Nina's room.
