Cameron couldn't help but beam with joy.

"Hmph." Nathalie let out a dismissive snort.

By the time they rolled back into Manhattan, it was already four in the morning.

Nathalie turned to Dominick, "Find a hotel for these two to crash at. I'm heading home."

With that, she hopped out of the car. Cameron watched her walk away through the window, lost in thought.

She cared so much about that person. If she ever discovered he used dark magic to swap their lives, what would she do?

When Nathalie got home, Morris's room was pitch black.

She stood at the door and knocked, but there was no answer for ages.
