Jackson furrowed his brows. "You're always so cautious. Who could possibly suspect you? If you ask me, it's probably just a rival company. You're making a mountain out of a molehill."

Mick let out a slow breath. "Maybe you're right."

Just as he was beginning to relax, Mick's computer screen erupted into virtual fireworks, only to reveal a chilling message: "Cross Nathalie, and you'll meet your end."

Mick's face turned pale, and he gritted his teeth. "Morris. Is it you?"

Jackson went white as a sheet. "Morris is a notorious genius hacker. He might just crack your encryption. If he finds out our secret, we're in deep trouble."

Mick sneered, unfazed. "I know he's formidable. After all, he outwitted my brother, so he's not to be underestimated. But my password is way tougher than the one my brother used. Plus, my files are a messy mix of truth and lies. I refuse to believe he can find my Achilles' heel. He's just a dog barking at my door."

Jackson patted his chest in relief. "That's good to hear."

Mick, ever the cunning and suspicious type, added, "Still, let's not give him too much time to poke around. I need to talk to the chairman and report his antics. We need to get him out of the company ASAP."
